Puzal is a daily Irish-language word puzzle. This policy explains, plainly, what we store and why. We don’t sell data, run ads, or use third-party tracking.
If you play without an account
Your progress (which puzzles you solved, clues used, stars, streak) is stored only in your own browser using localStorage. It never leaves your device and we never see it.
If you sign in
We store, against your account:
- your email address, and the name/avatar your sign-in provider gives us;
- your daily results — the puzzle, whether you solved it, clues used, stars, and date.
We use this only to show your stats and to sync your progress across your devices. Sign-in and storage are handled by Supabase (hosted in the EU); the site is hosted by Vercel.
Signing in with Google, Facebook or Microsoft
If you choose one of these, that provider authenticates you and shares your email and basic profile (name, avatar) with us. We don’t receive your password and we don’t post anything. Email one-time codes are an alternative that involves no third-party provider.
Your choices
You can play entirely anonymously. If you have an account and want it — and its history — deleted, send a request through our contact form and we’ll remove it.
